While there’s limited data to detail how common public transportation accidents are, statistics from Brake shows that there were 26,701 injuries from road traffic accidents in 2021 alone. Research by Statista highlights that fatalities from a bus accident injury are rarer than cars.
Further to this research, the report also revealed that trains are the safest public transportation option in the UK.
